Data Deletion & Account Removal

1. How to Delete Your Account (In-App)
You can delete your account directly from the Settings screen inside the MAGEN app.
Deleting your account permanently removes:
• Your user profile
• Connected email data references
• Stored scan history
• Associated subscription metadata (where applicable)
This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
2. Email-Based Deletion Request
Alternatively, you may request account deletion by sending an email to:
support@magenapp.site
The request must be sent from the email address registered with your MAGEN account.
We may request additional verification to prevent unauthorized deletion of accounts.
Deletion requests are processed within 7 business days.
3. What Data We Process
MAGEN analyzes connected email metadata and message content for the purpose of detecting fraud signals and surfacing important alerts.
Email data is processed but not stored long-term outside what is required for system operation.
Only essential operational data is stored in our database, including:
• Account email address
• Scan status
• Alert metadata
• Subscription status
No email inbox is permanently copied or archived.
4. What Happens After Deletion
Once your account is deleted:
• All stored user-related data in our database is permanently removed
• Access tokens are revoked
• No further data processing occurs
• Backups (if any) are overwritten according to our retention policy
